Posterous vs Tumblr?
Doordat ik nu met het boek Bloghelden bezig ben, ga ik ook weer eens
kijken hoe het met wat blogdiensten zit. Een van de meest intrigerende
blogdiensten van de laatste jaren zijn de Tumbl-blogs. Ik weet nog
niet precies wat de exacte term is, maar de blogdiensten die het
vooral heel simpel maken om te bloggen. Waar Wordpress meer een CMS is
geworden, zijn diensten als Tumblr, Posterous en Soup.io vooral
gericht op het zo makkelijk mogelijk, “no thrills”, te publiceren. Of
het nu video, foto, quotes, links of tekst is. Met Tumblr en Soup.io
gebruik je voornamelijk een bookmarklet en Posterous mail je (zoals ik
nu doe). Al is dat ook weer inwisselbaar. Maar met name Posterous
maakt het verschrikkelijk makkelijk om je post ook door te sturen naar
je andere online plaatsen. Of het nu Twitter, Friendfeed, Facebook,
andere weblogs of een videodienst als YouTube is, het kan allemaal
worden doorgestuurd.
Al met al dus weer razend interessante ontwikkelingen, ik heb nog geen
echte Nederlands equivalent tegengekomen, lijkt mij een mooie dienst
die zelfs web-log of een ander zou kunnen aanbieden. Maar goed, de
vraag is natuurlijk of mensen nog wel willen bloggen…
